Sainte-Julie, le 24 janvier 2020. – Le gouvernement du Québec consent une aide financière de 5 millions de dollars sous forme d’une prise de participation à l’entreprise Transmission CVTCORP (CVTCORP) afin qu’elle puisse mener à terme le développement de certains produits et renforcer sa capacité de production. La somme versée pour appuyer ce projet évalué à 11,3 millions de dollars a été accordée dans le cadre du volet Appui aux projets d’investissement du programme ESSOR. À terme, ce projet devrait créer 27 emplois bien rémunérés.
Un nouveau type de transmission à variation continue (CVT) a fait son entrée dans les salons de l’agriculture au cours des dernières années. Cette CVT surclasse les autres grâce à sa plus grande efficacité. Elle utilise en outre un système de variateurs toroïdaux qui optimise la vitesse du véhicule. Il en résulte notamment une économie de carburant et, du fait de sa simplicité d’utilisation, une augmentation de la productivité de l’opérateur.
Une transmission à variation continue conçue spécialement pour les véhicules de construction et de ferme, assez efficace pour leur permettre d’utiliser de plus petits moteurs et d’ainsi économiser.

CVTCORP completed all performance tests and in-lab product validation of the ECOMEC 150 transmission for material handling and off-highway applications. CVTCORP is now running vehicle’s seven days a week in its final test phase before production.
The highly efficient CVT-based implement drive provides the opportunity to operate the feeder mixer system with a smaller tractor and enables a revolutionary “mix while you drive” functionality at the same time without overpowering the tractor engine.
